September 25, 2009, Newsletter Issue #289: Antique Dress Shopping

Tip of the Week

My wedding budget was very tight. The bridal stores were all far too expensive, and I didnīt have the experience needed to sew my wedding dress, so I checked out some antique stores. I found a beautiful 1940īs gown in pristine condition. It needed a small amount of alteration, but the gown and the veil which accompanied it were far less expensive than I could have found anywhere else.
